Master Water Conditioning to attend Water Quality Association Convention & Exposition in Las Vegas

Annual Convention of water treatment industry promotes betterment of water quality

Staff of Master Water Conditioning Corp. will be attending the 2019 Water Quality Association Convention & Exposition, the annual meeting of water industry professionals, dealers and manufacturers from throughout the world. The Convention will be held April 23-25, 2019, in Las Vegas.

“I’m excited to be joining so many water treatment industry leaders and learning about new technologies and insights at the WQA Convention,” said Richard Mest, President of Master Water Conditioning Corp. “The education and training that is offered, along with the trade show, help me to better serve our customers who want to make sure they have the most effective water treatment products in their home or business.”

Education tracks include emerging contaminants (such as PFAS and microplastics), water treatment system design, and regulatory changes affecting the industry. The Convention draws more than 3,000 attendees from dozens of countries.

Richard is an active member in the Water Quality Association where he serves as Past President and is on the WQRF Board of Directors and is a member of the Water Systems Council where he serves on the Board of Directors as Past President. He currently sits as a member on the WQRF Business Operations Benchmarking Task Force and two different WQRF Grant Task Force. He previously served on the National Sanitation Foundation task force for the development of testing protocol for the Water Softener testing standard 44 as well as the Water Quality Association’s Technical, Ion Exchange and Education committees. He is currently an active member of the Water Quality Association’s Federal Government Affairs Committee as well as a Board of Director for the Oregon Ground Water Association.
